In this spin on our monthly Low Sensory Afternoons, join three members of the Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra for a sensory friendly afternoon of music. Dance along to the music and try your hand at one of our instruments!

In addition to limited attendance and low lighting, only instruments with low octaves will be used. Performances will be catered to the needs of the children attending.

Low Sensory Afternoons are appropriate for children with autism and/or sensory processing disorder, are open to children with any type of special need and their families.

Free. Pre-registration is required. Tickets are limited to keep noise levels low.

Important COVID-19 Information:

While KidsQuest typically requires masks for ages 3+, exceptions may be made during Low Sensory Afternoons for children experiencing sensory challenges when masked. To accommodate these exceptions staff interaction on the museum floor will be limited. If you prefer to visit us during a time where mask exemptions are not allowed, please visit our Timed Ticket Reservations page.
